Hi there! I am new to raising chickens. I have wanted to raise chickens for some time and my grandson and I decided it would be a fun project for us to do together. We purchased a chicken coop large enough for 2 maybe 3 chickens and then built it together.
When it came time to pick out our chickens, my two granddaughters wanted to get in on the action so we are now the proud owners of 4 hens, Sunny, Princess Lay-A (my grandson loves puns), Peach, and Tiny. They are now 7 weeks old and I realized I don't know what to do next. We recently put them in their pen outside with their little hen house and so far, so good.
I realize I have a lot of questions, which has brought me to this website. I look forward to learning a lot.
