New Chicken Owner

Hi everyone,
I'm super new to the chicken owning experience and would love any tips and tricks for raising the happiest of chooks.
I've currently got a 14week old hen that wasn't growing at the same rate of the others from a laying farm.
I've also got a roughly 3 week old that I saved from death on the main street/truck route.

Not sure what breeds they are. Any advice welcome.

I never venture a guess on breeds. I've been surprised by what my own chicks have grown up to be. But I'm sure someone here will have answers.

Kudos to you for taking in a late-blooming hen and a sweet baby! You clearly have a good, caring heart. I'd love to hear how you rescued your little one.

Good morning, and welcome to BYC. I'm not sure about the younger one, but the older looks like a production type. They have different names at different hatcheries. Production red, red star, Golden comet are the ones I've heard most often.
