New Chicken owner

I recently got three pullets and am curious what the transition time will be for them to adjust to me and their new coop. We live in Portland where it's pretty wet but they don't seem to come out into the run very often. Is this normal? They have open access to come and go from the henhouse into the run but prefer to stay indoors. I just want to make sure they're happy and acclimate well to their new environment. Thanks

Yes, they are quite normal. They will slowly get braver and venture out. All of our chickens have gone through the same process. Now when you open the coop door, you'd better stand out of the way because it's a chicken stampede.
