New Chicken Owner

Our family has just recently welcomed 6 baby chicks. Two Buff Orpingtons, Two Easter Eggers, One Australorp and on Partridge Cochan. We ordered them for My Pet CHicken and were less than happy with the process. We recieved the chickens with one DOA, on died withing 15 minutes of opening the box and one an hour later. I found out that our local farm supply store has exotic chickens and are willing to order what you want.

Shipping can be a big trauma for such little creatures, no matter how carefully packed. You might check your state thread in the Where are You - Where am I section of the forum for any local bird breeders

Yes they did give me a credit after some arguing. All are doing fine now
