New Chicken Owner

Hi Everyone! My name is Terri and I live in Magnolia Texas. I have 5 chickens that are 22 weeks old. I've had them for 2 1/2 months and am still waiting for them to start laying. They all have very distinct personalities and are fun to interact with. I am already learning so much from BYC. Do any of you have chickens for pets you keep indoors? I am thinking about getting a silkie and keeping her indoors. I know she will require a lot of training. I'm happy to have any advice. Thanks!
