It's best to never post personal information like address, phone, email etc. The safest thing to do is ask people to pm you (private message) and you can reply to them in the same manner. This way the conversation is only between them and you. If things progress you may feel it's okay to share a phone no. etc.

You could go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum to locate and post on your state thread. This way you will be hearing from people actually in your area ,instead of many states or countries hundreds + miles away.
