I got 2 barred rock chickens in May 1 of them died to a raccoon. So last Saturday I just picked up two 4 month old Buff Orpingtons and she's been pecking them and they just run away from her. I've been keeping them in a cage in the coop for three days. I let them out to eat grass and bugs and she still doesn't like them. Will she ever accept them or will it always be like this?

I don't know her age but she's much larger than they are.

I think they will get used to each other. The larger ones are just doing what comes natural - establishing a pecking order. If it's just a peck (and no real injuries) and the others run away I don't think you'll have any issues. Good luck to you!

It takes more than a few days...could take weeks or months.
As long as there is no copious bleeding and no one is getting pinned down and beaten unmercilessy, just let them work it out.
Chickens peck to communicate...it might bother us more than them...until we understand and get used to it.

I hope you've corrected the place the raccoon got in.

Thanks for responding. There hasn't been any bleeding just pecks then they run. And I have fixed the part the raccoon got in.
