The rooster and the black hen look like silkie mixes. The black frizzled hen might be an easter egger mix.
Only the solid black hen has 5 toes. I look everyone over yesterday.I see a lot of silkie crosses, not ayam cemani. How many of them have five toes?
Are the ones with orange necks males? Which ones would be males? I have 2 that are old enough to lay (1 greenish blue egg and a pinkish tan egg) All young males will not be staying!!Silkie mixes. Not a trace of Ayam in any of them. I do see at least 5 males.
Most of the black with orange are males, and that frizzle with the red shoulders is male. Compare them to the known rooster. Do you see how they all have the same shade of dark red through the shoulder/wing area? That's a male specific trait. Are the ones with orange necks males? Which ones would be males?
