New chickens, eggs and a Silkie question

Last weekend I bought 3 new girls to add to my existing two hens. I have no roos but the new girls had exposure to some at their old home. They have been laying eggs here and I've read that they can have fertile eggs for 10-14 days after breeding with rooster. So, I'd like to hatch these and the Silkie has been laying on them, but only at night. Will this work out? Should the Silkie be laying on them all the time? I've marked the eggs and I THINK they are being turned. I'm new at this so any suggestions are appreciated.

No they will not hatch unless the hen sits on them all them time - she is not broody or would not get up at all. You will need to put them in an incubator if you want to hatch them.
