New chickens.... I think they are roos....

Well I didn't buy the chicks... bought 2 hens and she said she would throw in some babies for free since I was trying to build my flock (and she knows I have a BR roo already).... thing is she is the GF of guy I have known at work for awhile. The only revenge available is I plan to tell her I sold them for $15 each once they are grown!

You're going to have issues rehoming that many roos in my opinion. I am trying to give away a silkie roo and can't.

Yeah I know.... I am planning to LIE MY BUTT OFF and tell her I sold them for $15 ea.... I have one lady that is wanting another roo for her free range chickens but I am sure I will be giving them away and still have to work hard to do that! I am pretty ticked but not much I can do.

I'd return them to her and let her know that you're onto her. C'mon...you're new at this, she knows you already have a roo, and she makes a "gift" of them. She knows what she's doing...how can a person return a gift, right?
I wouldn't let her get away with it. I'd just tell her thanks, but no thanks.

Well probably becuz I am petty and I know the BF will ask me how the chicks are eventually... not sure he knows they are roos.... so when he does I have to say something and 'well your GF purposefully gave me roos so she wouldn't have to find homes for them and now I am having a tough time rehoming them' seems like it would make things a mite uncomfortable. I will not be buying any more from her and doubt I would know anyone that would either... she doesn't sell much and I don't know anyone that has chickens really except her.
