New chickens left their coop moved into a coop left empty from other chickens

The other hens, Golden Comets, were three. They stopped laying and when they did lay they were breaking eggs. A month ago we got six more hens and they haven"t started laying yet. Sometimes you just don't know whether you did the right thing or not. My neighbor says you have to make room for the new producers. ugh...my hearts aches a little

No, coup 2 was their original coop. Today, I gave away six chickens from coop 1 and then all the chickens from coop 2 moved to coop 1. The chickens we gave away stopped laying. I feel sad.

@BBB Becky Sorry wasn't laughing about you having to give away your chickens but how the new batch moved in once the older ones were gone.
