The only mold that is actually dangerous, is pink mold. Hooch is just too much water. Stir it back in or pour it out.
The starter will revive once fed.
You can pour starter it in the garden, or in the toilet.

The old timers used to drink the hooch because of the alcohol content.

Peeps in prison still manufacture Hooch from orange juice.
This is my cup I used to drink it from. I took the cup with me when we broke out.
