Last week I got two year old EE hens. I put them in a coop and run near my current girls because there was no place else. So they have been sharing the same air space and only divided by chicken wire. I know, I know, they should have been completely separated but I don't have a spot.

I suspect these new EE's to have worms because they eat way more pellets than my other two girls. Their droppings look normal and they are lively and act normal. Should I just treat all my hens for worms?

At this point is there any reason to keep them separated?

Keep them separate for another two weeks or so, just to make sure they're healthy before adding them to your flock.

I'd treat all the birds for worms as a precaution.
