So I was able to trade my two Roos for two Hens from the woman who I've originally purchased all of my chickens from last night. They both are mixes of Bantams and normal sized chickens of different kinds. She did say they both were 7 months old but I'm not sure. Just want to see if these are really girls as far as anyone can tell. (Been a whole chicken shuffle these past few months with all of my supposed "Hens" turning out to be Roos x_x) The Barred Rock Bantam and the light brown one, Im sure the others in the photos are pullets.

Someone said that on another post and so I asked her when we swapped chickens and she double down on the 7 months! Maybe she's lost track of her chickens (she has like ~200 of them)
Yeah, I think she got her wires crossed somewhere about the age. A couple of those look like they're not fully feathered out yet. At 7 months they would be full grown and laying.

Well that makes a lot of sense. She told me pretty much the same thing with my first batch and that they would start laying in a month or so and that was back in August/september and I haven't seen an egg yet, plus with alot of them turning out to be Roos . This one was my favorite and just two months later it feathered out and is clearly a Roo
