I just added 7 2 year olds to my flock of 7 various aged hens. How long will it take everybody to adjust to each other and get back to laying on a normal schedule? Thanks

They may never be fast friends but eventually they'll put up with each other. This time of year, the stress may just stimulate them to molt so commencement of lay could be days or months away.

Did you isolate these new 7 hens for a period of at least 2-3 weeks before letting them loose with your existing flock? You run the risk of introducing disease/illness to your established flock if you don't...JMHO

They should get along better within a couple of weeks. Depending on how badly the introduction stressed the birds out, they may begin laying sooner or in a few weeks to a month or more.
