New chicks and adding ducklings?

I have had my chicks for a week, they are about 2 weeks old. If I want to get some ducklings should I keep them apart to make sure ducklings are healthy? How long should I keep them apart?

Chicks and ducklings shouldn’t be kept together especially if there is an age difference. The ducks could trample the chicks. You would also have to change bedding daily so it is dry for the chicks. It’s just not a good idea

I apologize! I should of been more clear, I thought when I put I shall wait made me assume y'all would understand we have NOT finish the coop. But tt is a fine a way to keep the chicken math at bay. We'll discuss more birds once the coop is done!
