New chicks and one year old hen?

I just got new chicks last Friday. We put the chicks in a room in the basement with my one year old bantam hen. They are in separate cages, but my hen is very nervous and her poop is watery and it gets everywhere. I'm not sure what to do because they will be all outside together here in a month or so. I'm worried that the new chicks are too much for her. Everything was fine till she got the new room mates. HELP!

You don't provide much information. My first thought is that your hen may be sick and it may just be coincidental to the chicks arrival. I recommend you re-post this, following the guidlines for diagnosing a sick chicken at the top of the page, on the section for diseases and injuries.
