New chicks arriving tomorrow....I hope

New here and first time chick raising

I put an order in to McMurray Hatchery last month for 11 standard sized and 15 bantams, oh yeah, and the free rare chick whatever it turns out to be.
The break down should go as follows:
Standard sized
5 - Araucana hens
5 - Blue Andalusian hens
1 - Lakenvelder rooster
Bantams:
assorted black frizzles, blue cochins, araucanas, white silkies, and a couple of black rosecombs.
It will be interesting to see just what the male/female ratio of the bantams turns out to be

Can't wait for the fuzzy little beasties to get here!

Congrats and! You'll get all the help and advice you need here! Everyone is friendly and willing to help. I'm new at this, too, and have gotten alot of solid advice and I haven't gotten my fuzzies yet!

Oooo, gold or silver lakenvelder?

The Lakenvelder is supposed to be silver, but we will see. I just hope all of them make it, even though it's starting to warm up I didn't expect that big freezing snowy weather we had.

The weather lately did suck, totally put my shipment of chickies behind but ohhh well I'd rather wait longer and have all the babies alive

I wish I was getting the assortment you are, that sounds super exciting to see who's who when they show up!

Yup, looks like it's gonna be tomorrow morning before the fuzzies make it here. I bet our post office folks now think I'm crazy
