An online friend of mine ordered the Ornamental Layer Assortment from MurrayMcMurray and they arrived this morning. She was shocked to get a call from the post office on a Sunday morning, but the clerk didn't want any chicks to die, so she called her today. My friend kept 13 and I bought 13 from her. Some of them are obvious, mainly the polish and the cochins, but the others have me stumped. It would help if the hatchery would list all the possible breeds they included.

Here are my cuties, two must be hiding behind the feeder:

Two other friends have said they want some of the chicks I got, but I'm not sure how I'd part with any of them!

If that's a dark brahma, I have two of those. I also have two buff cochins. The little black one is interesting and if it turns out to look like that, I'll be happy.

I have another little black one, but I think it's a polish.
