4 sexlink laying hens.

I got so tired of not being able to find what i wanted so i broke down and ordered what i wanted. The mottled javas will replace my sexlink hens as the new layers.

The rest ill keep out the best looking pair or trio and sell the other chicks.

If i play my cards right and dont have an epic loss for unkown reasons knock on wood. I should be able to raise them a little ways. Keep what i want and sell the rest getting my birds for free. Thats the plan anyway.

Heck yes ill post pics. Will still be a couple weeks before i get them. I tried my best to not pick super expensive breeds people cannot afford. Also trying to pick not only wanted birds but hard to find colors of birds for my area.

I love my chickens spring is the best. Towards the end of winter i find myself wondering why. Than spring comes back around and i remember.

Javas especially need breeders, I believe there aren't many folks raising them.

I dont know of many people that breed java. They are one of the oldest american breeds second only to the domnique. But you just dont see it.
