New chicks finally got here...after waiting two days. Seems they shipped out late.
Any way I'm so excited, I'd forgotten how cute and fun they are, and how you can sit and just watch them...atleast I can.
I did get 5 extra, guess they were fluff and stuff...so in all I have 20.
    Here's my list again

    2 Blacksex links
    2Barred Rocks
    2 IA Blues
    3 Ameraucana
    2 New Hamp. Red
    2 Golden Lace Cochin
    2 Delaware

They are all suppose to be pullets...possible that some of the extra 5 are roos....hope not. I know which are the black sex links, think the Delaware are the really light yellow and of course the Cochin have the furry shanks. I can tell the barred rocks...have 5 black..so thinking one of the extra may have been a BR. Now as for all the Gold babies I'm guessing..lol

Here are some pictures...I'm so excited!

    Nice assortment.

Most of the time the "packing peanuts" are all little Roos.

They're very pretty! We thought about Delawares, but we never got any of them. Maybe next time!

Enjoy your new babies! [IMG] [IMG]

You Americaunas are the little ones with the stripes on their backs! If you ever have toooo many roosters, you can rehome them with me. Very pretty very nice babies. Congratulations you have 20 babies!

    Actually I have 21....lol
Had to recount. Babies are all doing well...eating, drinking, doing there little chick runs about the box...The New Hampshire Reds are very curious. Still trying to figure out which ones are the Ia blue...They all come to my hand and peck at my rings and nails. Heat is just right, they they all over the box so I'll leave the light alone for now.

Bargain I may take you up on the offer...if the "peanuts" are all roo's don't know how that will float in a hen house where "roo"(my buff orp rooster) is king. He may not like the competition...lol
