Probably, but pullets have also been know to do that. It is one of the things young ones do to establish their pecking order.
 
At 2-1/2 months post photos and we can probably help you with sexing them. We need a photo showing the head so we can see the wattles and comb. A profile shot showing legs, body conformation, and posture can help a lot. They are probably still too young for the saddle or hackle feathers to show much, but if some have tail feathers curving down show that. It’s a sign of a male.
 
The only issue I see with your set up is concern about night time predators possibly reaching in to them. If you are confident that their housing is predator proof, they are well past the age when they should be living outside in a coop.
