New chicks gorging themselves!?

We just added 3 new chicks to our 4 we got a couple of weeks ago. All of them are about 3-4 weeks old. We wanted to get the new ones roughly the same age as our others so we got them from a small local breeder. We brough them home a couple of hours ago and they have been eating ever since! Their crops look huge & it's freaking me out. We have chick starter available to our chicks all of the time and they have never done this. Does this mean they weren't being fed properly? Should I take the food away?

No it just means the food is really yummy to them, might have been a different brand then they were used to and it tastes good to them. Don't take the food away.

Thank you, it was a little scary. I thought for a second they might explode! lol I wish these chickens came with a handbook!
