i have 5 new chicks in my brooder and i just found some bloody poop! WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Cocci- Immediately start Amprol or Sulmet. Change bedding. This can kill quickly!

have these chicks been exposed to the ground yet? They have to be exposed to the ground to have pick up cocci

yes, they were from Hens. not a hatchery

Ok, doe you have a rural king nearby? They sell the med you need. Its called corid. The ingredient is the amiprol. it cost us about $11 ~ $12 bucks.

Do you have any yogurt or ACV on hand? The Yogurt and the ACV will help prevent the cocci from settling in the gut of the chicks.
dosage 1 ~ 2 tablespoons per gallon if mixture is 9.6%
