New chicks in Central Florida!

My name is Marilyn
Located in Central Florida, Longwood
I let my 5 grandchildren pick out chicks last week + 3 for Nana.
We have 5 Golden Comet hens(for sure) and 3 Silver lace 50/50 chance of hens !!
The kids have so bonded with their chicks over Easter weekend. My son has my coop ready when they are old enough.
We plan to free range on an acre of fenced yard.
I grew up on a farm in Indiana and love giving the grandkids a taste of that life.
Who knew chickens could be so much fun + yummy eggs!
I love this site, I visit & learn everyday!
