Any chance it could be a golden cuckoo maran? I don’t really know how to tell the difference.

Golden Cuckoo Marans have chipmunk stripes as babies. They are cuckoo patterned with lightly feathered white legs. Your chick is partridge with heavily feathered legs, and from what little of the toe I can see, yellow legged. I agree that it is a Partridge Cochin.
