My lab is very excitable and loves to chase anything that runs from him. I have found it is best to introduce him to chickens that are full grown in order to get him used to being around chickens. I wish you good luck in your hobby and with your dog.

My Chicks are 3 weeks old and they are interacting well with my lab and poodle. I did the same thing little by little I let them spend time together. I keep a close eye on our lab because he is still a puppy and he may not want to hurt them on purpose but he could with his paws. They do play a little together the chicks love it so far. They run around and sometime they get close enough to just sit by the dogs. Its nice to know that they will be able to live together
