New chicks, new chick owner

Welcome
I have had Black Australorpe and loved them They are egg laying machines right up there with Rhode Island Reds.
They are friendly and a real joy to have in the yard. I don't have any experience with Sussex or Dominique. I have had
Black Australorpe and have 6 now, 4 Rhode Island Reds, 8 Easter Eggers, 4 Barred Rock, 10 Buff Orpington, 6 Welsummer
6 Barnevelder, 65 Crested "top hats" of mixed breeds, and one White Wyandotte which was also a very friendly beautiful bird.
I had 12 ducks of mixed breeds but my all time favorite was my turkey. I want to have some more turkey this year but right now
I don't have a place to keep them. I think you will find the Australorpe to be the best layers.

I was surprised to discover that one of my Black Australorpe was a Roo

My sweet Turkey Bird

Good Luck
