New Chicks On Monday !!!!!!!

after having to give up my flock of 10 hens due to physical limitations

and major back surgery in Febuary, i am now recoveing well and the doc okayed me to get birds back !! So monday the 25th im getting 14 chicks , 7 Speckled sussex , and 7Ameracauna's ! I'm so dang EXCITED

sorry , i got 6 sp sussex and 7 ameracauna's they are 6 weeks and scraggly looking lol ,can't wait till they feather out . Question... at what age do they start to get thier adult plumage ?

Weird, I had a disc removed from my back and metal and screws are holding my spine in place. Shortly after that I got chickens.

did u get a fusion also ? this was my second and hopefully last

Well the disc was replaced by bone fragments taken from other bones in my spine. Saw an x-ray and was very surprised at how long the screws were! But it was successful and I am now pain free and can run around with my chickens.
