We had all our eggs hatch since early Yesterday.... 3 died from hatching early....

Our last to hatch was "Shrink wrapped" pretty badly, even thought the humidity varied between 60% and 75%....

She seems to be doing ok-- VERY chatty too-- but the others are attacking her!
Her grooming gland is very noticeable and red... That seems to be what they are pecking at....

What should we do? We have her separated, but she hates it! Tried a bit of blue-kote... was that OK to do?

Red light and give them something else shiny that will draw their attention away from her tail end.

Put a mirror or little bell or one of those hangy things for parakeets to play with.

    Good luck

I put a mirror in. The chicks were loving it.

Yes Blue-Kote is good for injuries and helps the pecking too, but I think it best you keep them separated until she's all healed. You could put in a stuffed animal with her to keep her company and to be extra warm. Hope she'll be ok!
