New Chicks Sick

I am so sad, I think she is dying. Not moving around much today. I have her in the house out of the heat and in a comfortable bed. She looks like she wants to eat but she cant stay away long enough to eat or drink. I feel helpless. I am scared my who flock is going to be effected by this.

I am so very sorry that the chick is not yet showing signs of improvement...keep up the antibiotics and she may yet improve...it is so hard when we try all that we can do to help them to get through whatever it is that ails them...I really do feel for you..you are doing everything right for your chick..being indoors is the best place for it right now with you...whatever the outcome, you have done the best for this little one...I hope and pray that it will survive with your loving care .

I am sad to announce that she took her last breath this morning. I woke up and she was face down. I picked her up she was still gasping for air. I held her for a bit and put her down to go to the bathroom. When I got back she was gone. Thank you for the ones who commented. I told you I would keep you up to date. I am so sad I tried everything to keep her alive.
