They like to move around so fast, it is hard to get a decent picture! I am trying to figure out how to start a forum from my phone bc we are having a time figuring out what breed some of them are.

I'm a first-time-chick-mom, too. I researched lots before these little puffy balls arrived at the post office. It was great, but I was a nervous wreck!
I'm trying to attach a short video I took of the chicks' first exposure to mealworms. I learned not to feed day-old chicks mealworms, because they could choke on them.
Despite that serious piece of info I learned, this video is still one of my favorites. The star of this video is Diana, a golden cuckoo maran.

Awww. I'm sorry u lost some chicks. How are the others doing?

The others are doing great so far. I'm dumbfounded why the ones passed away. One minute they were fine then the next morning they were not. I'm wondering if the other chicks maybe piled ontop of them to much.

I have heard of that happening. Little buggers don't seem to know they are laying on their sister. I hope the rest stay happy and healthy!
