New chicks tuesday or wednesday!

Yay just got my email! They are on their way!!

Awesome!!! There's just something about getting that email that makes it even more real!

Now if only I'd get mt email from them. LOL
I was impatient and checked on my order status and it does say they shipped and to expect them between Tuesday and Thursday. REALLY hoping that they arrive tomorrow!

I felt like I was stalking their website today. Lol mine said to expect between Tues and Thurs also so hoping urs ate on the way too!!

I did tracking on mine and they were in Mansfield, Ohio at 7:18 PM, Central Time. That's not all that far from where they started in Polk, Ohio. And my Guaranteed delivery is by Wednesday, July 17th by 3PM. Which is making me think I won't see my chicks until Wednesday.

I just don't see them making it to me in Central Illinois by morning. Seriously bummed. And totally stressing about them. And hoping I'm wrong and they show up to the post office by morning.

That's crazy talk! I know I would NOT be a happy camper if I got them that late. But then again, these are only guesstimates by the Post Office. They might have to overestimate arrival time to cover their butts. Hopefully, your chicks will arrive at least a day earlier than Friday! I mean getting them Friday is ridiculous.

I really hope you get them sooner. And I thought the possibility of getting them Wednesday was bad. Wow.

Well Meyer said not to worry about the tracking info saying that. Said they are almost always delivered in 1 to 2 days. Also said to not rely on updates to your tracking info as they don't update most of the details until after the chicks are delivered. I sure hope they are right and mine are here by Thursday at the latest.

Mine are coming by Priority by the way. Maybe you others got Express ?

I DID get Express. It absolutely makes a difference. Priority usually guarantees delivery within 3 days. Express is 2, I think.

But... I just checked my tracking number and...
My chicks are in the post office of a neighboring town form me!!!! They were checked through there at 6:32AM. That post office is only 25 minutes from where I live! I live in a small, more rural town just outside of a small city. Things almost always go through the city post office before coming to my little post office. So... my post office might still get them TODAY!!!!

Honestly, I'm amazed. I didn't see how they'd travel all that distance in one night! But they did and they're nearly here. So to Diz78 and farnorth, there is hope!!!
