New chicks with my Silkies?

We got some bantams today...one dies as soon as we got home I think they are only a 2 or 3 days old...they are micro minis compared to our others...however I have 6 silkies that I was told would be safe to add with them. I have added one to see how it goes. Idk if it's a hen or not. Posted a pic any advice?? Should I add the other 5?

That's a pretty big age difference. You can try it. Keep a good eye out, though. If the big chicks get to pecking, you will have to separate...

I took him out but we are down to 3 now...looks like another is on the way out! This has been so depressing!
