New chicks won't eat!

I used a mallet used to pound meat to make my crumbles smaller. I did that for about 2 weeks or so. Even the crumbles were a little large at first.

Try chopping up oatmeal and adding some water and clump it into balls and lay it in there. It worked for my chick.
