Here is the second chick that hatched today at 2pm. Both are doing great and what an awesome thing to see! The Black Copper has not pipped and we are so disappointed but not giving up just yet. I'm ready for more eggs!

Isn't the best experience! It's a cutie for sure. Good luck on the other one, sometimes it takes longer than 21 days. I've had chicks hatch at 25!
Great pic!

Can I candle the last egg? We candled all of them early in the incubation, but the Black Copper egg was so dark we weren't sure what we were looking at. What should we see now?

See the little flashlight in the picture on the top right? That's what came with the bator and that's what we used. Any suggestions on using something else?

I like the looks of that little incubator. What brand is it...I might be interested in purchasing one like that!? Thanks!

Just looked it up and it's by Brinsea. For the 3 egg incubator, the site I was looking at had the price at $140!

Do a search for Brinsea R-Com if you're still interested. It's cute, but definitely out of MY price range!

A little pricey, yes but we're not interested in hatching a large number of eggs.
