New chicks

The chicks are about 10 weeks maybe 12. The older hens are maybe 2 years I’m guessing. And we are adding 10 chicks to the 5 hens

Are these new chicks ?
If they are it’s best to house them side by side for a few weeks so they can look but not touch eachother, maybe letting them free range together every now and then. When they start to tolerate eachother you can Move them in together.
Just make sure your run is big enough for your younger hens to get away from your original flock when they need to.

There's no limit to how many chicks you can introduce, it really is about having the space to do so safely. The chicks need room in general to get away from the adults, and extra space also allows you to add more feeders, waterers, and barriers to help give the chicks safe areas.
