ok so my family just got chicks 7 of them yesterday there so cute anyhow i was wondering what yall think i should name them

This year I put this white Ayam Cemani rooster with this turken cross hen (below).

I though that she just a layer, not going broody until 2 weeks. Sitting on 14 eggs.

On March 11, she hatched 10 chicks, 4 are infertile, 10 are fertile, 1 didn't survive, so 9 left very healthy.

I think is a great percentage of 95% hatch rate. Hatched earlier than I expected.

I name my chickens in a number of ways. One of my Buff Orpingtons is "Buffy", another one is "Blondie". I have Sadie Thompson, she is always running and acting like a puppy. I have named many chickens after family. Named after Mom is "Lucille", my olive egger, my amerucauna is "Barbara Ann" as she is so pretty, and my sister was the tall beauty of the family. Another Buff is named "Maggie, or Margaret" after my Grandma because she gets broody, and is a super great mother, etc. I name them either according to the way they act or how they look. So Squirt is your Amerucauna? Is she small? Names are such fun. I use leg bands to tell my same breed chickens apart. It helps a lot. Good Luck!
