You will learn a lot just by reading on this forum. Do you have a good book to help you get started? If your chicks are new then you need to be sure to keep them warm. It should be 90 degrees for the first week and keep subtracting 5 degrees per week until you are at room temp. Also make sure that they have enough room in thier brooder to get away from the heat if they need to.

Provide them with food and plenty of water at all times. Do you have a waterer? Make sure that it's not too deep so that they can fall into it and drown. Do you have any specific questions that you need answered?
