New Chicks

Just got our chickens in the mail today from MyPetChickens.com. Got a great Voice Mail from the post office saying that our chicks had come in (you could hear them peeping in the background), and could someone please come get them....soon.

We got 1 Exchequer Leghorn, 2 Speckled Sussex, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, and 5 Easter Eggers (we only ordered 4 but got a packing peanut).

Now there's even more motivation to finish up the coop.

gratz...our second batch of fuzzbutts for this year also arrived today and also from MPC but this time they were actually delivered...I think our mailguy liked em as he wanted to see them as I opened the box

I love the second picture where the baby's head is in the feeder and her little hiney is sticking up in the air! So cute....
