new chicks!

added to my flock the following chicks 2 new buff orpingtons, 2 plymouths, 2 turkens and 1 rhode Island red to go with my full grown hens 1 rhode island red 1 black longshans, and 2 golden wyondettes..... so up to 11 yikes!

Sounds like a nice variety. I wanted to add 4 to my flock this year, but you know chicken math. So my new chicks are 2 black copper marans, 2 buff orpingtons, 2 ameraucanas, and 2 black stars. That puts me up to 14, 2 more than I really wanted. Any rooster will get culled so that will probably take at least one from the count. I think next year i want to try hatching my own.
