I have 8- 9 week old chicks and I introduced 6-5 week old chicks over a week ago they roost together from day one
all night with no issues but when the smaller chicks go into the run the older chicks chase them?
I'm thinking about putting the younger chicks in a movable run so they can be outside in the run yet protected
from the older girls and the older girls can see them all day good idea or bad?. any advise would be great!

Sounds like normal squabbling. Are the younger ones getting hurt? If they have been together for over a week without any wounds I would leave it be.

    Good luck,

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have some sort of barrier between the two age groups until the little ones are of a size to better defend themselves.

Having said that, some chasing and minor pecking is normal and to be expected. If they aren't drawing blood, best to let them sort it out IMHO.
