Hi Everyone got new chicks and everything is fine.They are growing fast. Got 14 RIR and 10 BR.

I have 2 RIR's (along with 3 L. Brahmas, 1 W. Rock, 2 B. Giants and 1 Aracauna) and now I wish I had gotten more RIR's. They are both so very sweet and full of personality. Congrats!!

I have 2 RIR and 4 BRs. The RIRs are full of personality, and the BRs are very sweet and calm (all except for one chick.. she was the smallest and acts the most nervous, and I don't think she is the best representative of the breed.. although she is beautiful!). Actually, that's 'Arold the RIR at 2wks in my Avatar.. don't ask, hubby picked her name.

Just moved them out side. Last night was there first night out in the coop with the old hens. I have them separated right now. Would like to know when it would be a good time to let them in with the old hens. They are about 5 weeks old.
