New chicks

We bought four BO's and 2 RIR chicks this morning. they are in a large rabbit cage in the coop (house) with the hens but they can't get to them. Is this ok? We want them to know each other by the time we let them integrate into the flock. Also my adult BO is roosting on top of the cage. Normal?

So if Audrey poops on them, can I wash them? Audrey is the adult BO. I love that darned chicken!

um, what do you mean by wash? if i was in the position i would take a warm washcloth and lightly dab the poo off

That I can do. I have no idea what to do with these chickens. We have only had our first 6 since last Friday and the chicks we got today. Thanks!
