My son wants two Easter Egger so he can have a little color with his eggs,2 Rhode Island Red, 2 Welsummer. That's if he don't change is mind again. We already have 4 other chickens that are 2 years old ( 1 Buff Orpington and 3 regular Orpingtons. We will pick them up once they come in on 4-3-2017 so I need to make my brooder soon. I think I am going to use a plastic 35 gallon container and use for now. My son is going to work on a run next to our other coop tomorrow he said. We will see if that happens he's been not feeling the best and had the flue. Just went back to work Thursday. So we will see how much gets done. The run I want is for the chicks and I want it large enough he can put a door on it and I can go in with the chicks and play with them there. I want all hens for eggs. We are not allowed roosters here where we live as I was told.

these are 4 out of our 6 chickies. The two older girls are an Russian Orloff (Olga) and a barred rock (Henrietta). The two smaller ones are an Australop (OZ) and an americauna (Gracie), This was over a week ago and they have grown amazingly since this pic.
