New Cochins aren’t eating much.....

So we just got a trio of 9 month old Cochins 5 days ago and they are eating very little. The breeder said they are used to eating pellets, and I use crumbles. He also uses a home made feeder whereas I use a PVC type feeder. Should I just give them more time or should I invest in a different feed and feeding system? Thank you for any feedback you can give me!

As long as they are eating I would give them time to adjust.

Scatter some feed on the ground for them too. Get a small bag of whatever they were eating, and start there, then mix it with your feed. Chickens do hate change!
