There is a lot of great info here at BYC. And there's not much I can add......but predators come from every angle. The chicken is very very low in the food chain

They dig under...fly over...and go thru your wire. Even if you don't see them....they are all around.

Thanks I figured I would add that after it warms up a bit and before they are out there. I built it before I needed it thank goodness and have been adding and tweaking things. I have to put in vents, a door, and paint. It has linoleum, nest boxes, and perched. I am adding a black mesh roof as suggested before my little ones head outside. Thanks all.
