New coop and run thanks to BYC

Door to coop is gorgeous, did you build that?
Quite the contrast with the rest of coop!

Is the coop water tight?
Where roof meets side wall looks dicey.
What is your climate?
Put location in profile?

Your run latch, I won't use those here, to risky for lock in when you live alone out in the boonies.

The door was purchased at Habitat For Humanity. I cut it in half and made the screen door from scratch. My wife painted it blue for the contrast. The coop is water tight due to a high quality polyurathane caulk on the end walls. The frame of the shack was built by my friends son for an ice shack and he said it doesn't rain in the winter. We live in WI so we get pretty extrem weather. I added the rope on the latch so you can close and latch the door behind you and then just pull the rope to release.
