New coop build for new chicks

3killerBs I live in upper central MN. Yes it will be a stout coop. Debating whether to heat it. I will get it insulated by Oct. My chicks that i picked out ( black Austrorp, light Brahma, and buff Orpingtons) were hatched Aug 1st so they should be fully feathered before it gets cold and are reported to be cold hardy.

Got the insides about done except for the traditional whitewash i plan to.

What do you mean by whitewash?

Traditional white wash. What i could find out is just 6-8 cups of hydrated lime in 1 gallon of water with 2 cups of salt. It is supposed to have some antibacterial properties
