New Coop build ventilation advice please

That's looking good. I have a stupid question. You said you're utilizing empty space under your kids trampoline. Do they still use the trampoline? Lol. That might not end well.

Yeah that really wouldn't be a good idea!! The chooks aren't always going to be able to go under the trampoline but the kids wont be allowed on it when they are

Got some more done on the coop and run


The 4 x 2 on the front is just a temporary thing so I can get the front level

The coop is almost finished now just got to felt the nest box and food roofs then fit the roosts then its wiring the run

I've done the colour scheme so it matches my house


The feeder has 2 holes one side and 3 on the other, The waterer is next to the food I'm using horizontal nipples which will be angled down ever so slightly and is going to be about 14" off the ground which I hope that will be an okay height?

Best to keep them as horizontal as possible so they can sip out of the little lip under the pin.

Like the top hinged vents, can/should leave them open all the time.

They will be virtually level but I can rotate the pipe if I need to, what do you reckon to the height tho?

That's the plan with the vents they will be open all year round (unless we have a ridiculously cold spell then I can shut them) and it eliminates rain getting in

I'm making my roost removable for easier cleaning and where its going to be located is right across the clean out door I'm going to have it about 2' off the floor but I'm wondering how far away from the wall they should be? Any advice anyone?

...again 12"....maybe closer for small birds, farther for big rooster tails.
Roost only need to be higher than the nests.
Place them so easy to grab birds off at night for exams.
